Nintendo Switch Party

TVCC Youth with disabilities and a sibling, 12 yrs -21 yrs, who reside within Elgin/Middlesex, Huron/Perth, Grey/Bruce & Oxford County.

What to Expect

Join Horizons and The Wellness Project for Nintendo Switches parties this spring!

We connect TVCC's Nintendo Switch consoles to two big screens for everyone to play together.

We have a few games to choose from, or youth are also welcome to bring any multiplayer games they'd like to play with the group.

Video games are a great way to bond with others and develop communication and social skills. This group encourages participants to communicate with each other, share tips and strategies, and support one another all while doing something fun.

Whether you love gaming, or are just interested in trying it out for the first time, there's space for you in this group!

Youth-aged siblings are also welcome to attend.

Parents/caregivers - There is an in-person group for parents/caregivers called Coffee and Conversation that runs during the Apr 25, May 23 and June 20 Switch parties. If you are interested in attending while your child goes to their group, please register at https://cffeconvtvcc.eventbrite.ca/

What is Horizons and The Wellness Project?
Horizons is TVCC's new program just for youth ages 12+. We plan fun groups and workshops, and can also meet with you one-on-one to explore topics like planning for after high school, volunteering in the community, looking for a job, and more!

The Wellness Project a three-year program aimed at rebuilding and enhancing mental wellness for youth and their families. We understand that the past three years have brought unique challenges and we want to help. Over the next three years we'll be running programs with a focus on connection, mindfulness, physical activity, and new skills.
