For Birth to School Entry - OT

TVCC Occupational Therapists (OT) provide services to infants, children, youth and their families. TVCC OTs focus on helping clients succeed with everyday activities using their strengths and abilities.

Where there are barriers to success, our occupational therapists can provide strategies to build skills, modify the environment and/or use adapted tools to make the task easier. OTs help children’s fine motor, feeding/swallowing, play, self-regulation, self-care and sensory needs. OTs will develop a personalized plan that is just right for your family.

What to Expect

We will listen to you to understand your concerns and priorities. We work with you to determine how we can best help you and your child. An occupational therapist can help as a single support or as part of your service team. Services may be in the form of one-on-one, group treatment, consultation or home programming. We will create an individualized plan that is just right for your family.

Occupational therapists are regulated health professionals registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
