What to Expect
Come explore the vast and creative world of Minecraft! Every Tuesday, we will work together to build our home base, collect resources, and survive through the nights.
Through playing Minecraft together, participants will have the opportunity to interact with other youth, learn how to communicate effectively, and work together to overcome challenges. They will be encouraged to express themselves creatively and share their ideas with others, building confidence and self-esteem.
There are two Minecraft groups - one is virtual, and one is in-person. Please register for the one that work best for your youth, but not both. The in-person group can be found here: https://www.tvcc.on.ca/participation/lets-play-minecraft-person-12-yrs
- Practice social skills through group activities and peer connection
- Boost their self-confidence through play and creative expression
- Improve communication skills through shared activities and discussion
Participant Criteria:
- TVCC clients ages 12 yrs+
- Knowledge of how to play Minecraft required

This group will be facilitated on the TEAMS platform. TEAMS coordinates will be sent out prior to the group. TEAMs requires a computer and data. Please ensure that you have enough data on your home plan that you do not go over and incur extra charges.
