What to Expect
Join the TVCC Wellness Project team for our Teen Movie Night!
This sensory friendly screening of Toy Story (1995) offers youth clients, friends, and siblings, an opportunity to enjoy film amongst peers, socialize, and build lasting connections in an inclusive and accessible environment.
The evening will include a 1 hour 17 minute screening of the movie, along with light snacks and time to socialize as facilitated by the TVCC Youth team.
Participating clients will be expected to watch the selected films amongst peers respectfully and without disrupting. Clients are welcome to bring a chosen support person, friend, or sibling.
This program additionally coincides with caregiver program Caregivers Connecting. This group is led and supported by Parent Mentors and Social Work team at TVCC and a great way to share and receive information on family workshops, events, practical guidance, resource navigation tips and relevant community resources.
Parents and caregivers are invited to additionally register for this program and learn more about what TVCC has to offer caregivers while the youth enjoy a movie!
