What to Expect

Join us for a free, interactive session that shares practical, easy to understand information to help you make informed financial decisions today and into the future.

  • March 11th: Family Budgeting Made Simple - learn what a budget is and why it matters, how to create a budget, tips to help you reach your financial goals, and more.

  • March 24th: Financial Basics for Youth - learn what a budget is and why it matters, the benefits of early investing, credit basics, and more.

  • April 1st: Understanding the RDSP - learn how a Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP) can help support long term financial well-being for people with disabilities and their families. You will learn about what an RDSP is, who can open an RDSP, government grants and bonds, investment options, and more.

The session will be led by representatives from Libro Credit Union, who will share their expertise and answer your questions.

“Financial literacy is foundational to financial well-being. When people have the knowledge and confidence to understand and use financial information, they’re better equipped to make choices that support their goals. That’s why Libro is proud to collaborate with TVCC and the Children’s Health Foundation to deliver these sessions and support people on their financial journey.”

— Jason Dearing, Regional Director, London–Elgin, Libro Credit Union.
