For parents/caregivers of TVCC youth with disabilities/special education needs and their youth, 12 yrs and older, who will be entering high school.
What to Expect
This in-person workshop is for TVCC families preparing for the transition to high school. This event is for both parents/caregivers and their youth ages 12 and over.
This workshop will begin with a panel presentation of parents and youth who have experienced the transition to high school and will follow with an opportunity to learn about TVCC programs and services for youth.
There will also be an opportunity for youth to gather separately with facilitators. The youth will explore their hopes and fears about the move to high school and participate in some fun activities with our youth staff.
