Family Dance Party (3-18 yrs)

For TVCC clients 3 -18 yrs and a sibling (a family member or close friend) and parent/caregivers who reside within Elgin/Middlesex, Huron/Perth, Grey/Bruce & Oxford County.

What to Expect

Celebrate the end of summer with an upbeat Family Dance Party!

Clients and families are invited to move, groove, and enjoy an afternoon filled with music, games, snacks, and connection in a welcoming, accessible space. With a live DJ, fun seasonal decorations and opportunities to socialize, this event is all about bringing TVCC families together, making memories, and giving every participant a chance to shine. 

Please note that all families must have at least one guardian (18+) present at the family dance. 

Participant Criteria:

  • TVCC clients (ages 3 to 18 yrs) and their family, and friends 
  • Interest and willingness to participate in social dance
  • Able to participate safely in a group setting; participants are welcome to have a support person present to assist them 

Clients are welcome to bring any adaptive equipment or support items to support their participation (i.e. noise reducing headphones, comfort items)

We will also be hosting a teen dance for youth aged clients (ages 12 and up) without guardian participation folowing the family dance, from 6:00-8:00pm. Feel free to register for one or both events as best suits your family's needs! Registration for the teen dance can be found under "End of Summer Teen Dance". 

Both these programs are hosted by TVCC Horizon’s Youth Services.
