The Blind Low Vision Early Intervention Program (BLVEIP) began in 2007 to provide supports to children from birth to school entry who are blind, have low vision or neurological visual impairment. Services are provided to children and their families living in the southwest region which includes Elgin, London/Middlesex, Oxford, Huron, Perth, Grey, Bruce and Lambton counties.

The provincial government announced that all of Ontario will be moving to grey (lock down) as of 12:01 am December 26th for all TVCC service regions.

Congratulations to Tracy Shepherd who has been elected International Society for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (ISAAC) President Elect for the term 2020 - 2022.
Tracy will be assuming the International President role for the term 2022 - 2024 and started the President Elect position on October 1st.

TVCC began providing a limited number of scheduled in-person visits with clients in mid-June. Since that time, we have gradually offered more visits to more clients. We have moved purposefully and slowly to ensure the safety and well-being of you the clients and families we serve and our staff.

We have an important update regarding children whose hearing was unable to be screened following COVID-19 closures as a result of their age. The Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) provides funding and oversight of the Ontario Infant Hearing Program.
