What to Expect
In person workshop for parents/caregivers with children with ASD
Come to learn more about visual supports to help increase motivation.
During this in-person educational opportunity for parents and caregivers (please do not bring your child/youth to the event), there will be an opportunity to learn about the strategies, practice using the strategies and bring the visual support materials home!
Strategies include choice boards, "I'm working for" boards, "break" card and "help" card. Discussions will also include how to teach and set up visuals for best outcomes .
Registration in the Ontario Autism Program is required to participate in this event. All materials will be provided!
