For TVCC clients aged 10 yrs + and their families—including parents, caregivers, and siblings who reside within London/Middlesex, Elgin, Oxford, Huron, Perth, Grey, and Bruce counties.
What to Expect
Join us for a one-evening family gardening experience in the beautiful Play Garden at TVCC! This inclusive outdoor program is designed for TVCC clients aged 10 yrs + and their families—including parents, caregivers, and siblings.
Participants must reside within London/Middlesex, Elgin, Oxford, Huron, Perth, Grey, and Bruce counties and be able to participate safely in a group, outdoor setting.
Facilitated by a Recreation Therapist and Parent Mentor, families will explore hands-on gardening activities that support creativity, sensory exploration, and meaningful connection.
What to Expect:
• Fun and engaging gardening tasks
• Opportunities for families to plant, create, and explore together
• A relaxed outdoor setting designed with accessibility in mind
• Time for caregivers to connect with each other in a supported space—or stay to assist their child if preferred
Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just getting started, this evening offers a chance to get outside, grow something together, and enjoy the calming benefits of nature.
