The first day of our conference is dedicated to exploring clinical research in health sciences, disability, and paediatric rehabilitation with a focus on children and youth within their broader environment.
The Child Health Symposium is a collaborative presentation of Western University's Faculty of Health Sciences and TVCC.
DAY 1: Child and Youth Health Research Poster Session and Networking Reception: Tuesday, May 20, 2025 (evening)

Join us for an enriching evening following the first day of our conference, where you'll have the opportunity to explore research and engage in meaningful networking. The Joint Child and Youth Health Research Poster Presentation, Reception, and Showcase Speaker Session is a collaborative event that brings together a wide range of stakeholders dedicated to advancing child and youth health.
DAY 2: Child Health Research Day: Wednesday, May 21, 2025
9:00 AM to 4:00 PM EDT
Location: King’s University College
The second day shifts focus to the medical and basic science aspects of paediatric health research, emphasizing studies conducted in hospital settings. This day highlights advancements in medical treatments and interventions. Attendees can expect presentations on cutting-edge basic science research that underpins clinical practices, offering insights into the latest developments in paediatric medicine.
Parking Information
Parking for these events is free (the gates will be open for attendees). Attendees can find parking at:
- P1 (west side of Wemple Building)
- P2 (near Dante Lenardon Hall)
- P3 (behind the G. Emmett Cardinal Carter Library which is located within the Dante Lenardon Hall)
While all of these lots have accessible parking spaces, for those with mobility issues, P1 and P3 lots are recommended.
