What to Expect
Get ready to celebrate the end of summer at TVCC with an exciting Teen Dance Party!
This event is specially crafted for teens and tweens with disabilities and their youth-aged family and friends, providing an inclusive and sensory-friendly environment.
Picture a space transformed into an exciting evening with a live DJ, seasonal decorations and yummy snacks. It's not just a dance; it's an opportunity to socialize, forge new friendships and for everyone to shine!
Participant Criteria:
- TVCC clients and their siblings, cousins, and friends (ages 12-21)
- Interest and willingness to participate in social dance
- Able to participate safely in a group setting; participants are welcome to have a support person present to assist them
Youth are welcome to bring any adaptive equipment or support items to support their participation (i.e. noise reducing headphones, comfort items)
We will also be hosting a family dance for clients of all ages, with parents and caregivers welcomed to attend from 3:30-5:30pm. Feel free to register for one or both events as best suits your family's needs!
Registration for Family Dance can be found under "Family Dance Party".
