What to Expect
Join Horizons at TVCC for an evening of fun for teens.
Come hang out with fellow TVCC youth and enjoy a fun opportunity to get out of the house and try something new. This screen-free evening features a mix of engaging planned activities and youth-led favourites, including LEGO, games, arts and crafts, and more.
Sleigh All Day! Teen Hangout is about more than just having fun. It provides a welcoming space for teens to build meaningful connections, share experiences, and support one another throughout the holiday season.
Through this program, youth will:
- Meet and interact with other TVCC youth
- Build upon existing social skills through connection with peers and participation in social activities
- Foster self-awareness and practice skills for independence
Participant criteria:
- TVCC youth-aged clients (12 yrs +)
- Interest and willingness to participate in social and group activities
- Able to participate safely in group activities; participants are welcome to have a support person present to assist them
- Able to follow along with a group with or without accomodations
