For TVCC youth clients, aged 12 yrs +, who reside within London/Middlesex, Elgin, Oxford, Huron, Perth, Grey, and Bruce counties.
What to Expect
Join us for a weekly gardening program designed for youth ages 12–21yrs with disabilities, in partnership with The PATCH.
This inclusive program offers a welcoming and adaptive environment where participants can explore gardening, connect with others, and enjoy hands-on activities that build skills and confidence.

Through this program, participants will:
- Meet and interact with other TVCC youth
- Take part in the physical activity of gardening in an adaptive and supportive environment
- Learn gardening skills, explore horticulture
- Develop an awareness about the environment, sustainable food systems, and healthy habits
Participant Criteria:
- TVCC clients aged 12+ yrs
- Interest and willingness to participate in gardening activities
- Able to participate safely in a group setting with or without accommodations
About The PATCH:
The PATCH is a collaborative project by Hutton House, Nathan T. Deslippe Memorial Fund, and Kensington Village Association. It brings urban agriculture skills training, horticultural therapy, and community hospitality to the London community. Food grown through PATCH programs is distributed to local agencies supporting people in need. Learn more at www.patchlondon.ca.
