TVCC Youth with disabilities and their siblings, 12 yrs +, who reside within Elgin/Middlesex, Huron/Perth, Grey/Bruce & Oxford County.
What to Expect
Calling all tea lovers! Join TVCC for a relaxing afternoon of tea, snacks, conversation and friends. This teen program is a great space to meet new people in a relaxed and safe environment. Other drinks will be also be available.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Tea, alternative drinks and snacks
- Calming music
- Opportunites to meet new friends
- Crafts and small activities
Participant Criteria:
- TVCC clients and their youth aged family and friends (ages 12-21 yrs)
- Interest and willingness to participate in a social program, as comfortable
- Able to participate safely in a group setting; participants are welcome to have a support person present to assist them
Youth are welcome to bring any adaptive equipment or support items to support their participation (i.e. noise reducing headphones, comfort items)
This program is hosted by TVCC Horizons Youth Services and the TVCC Wellness Project. The Wellness Project is a four-year program aimed at rebuilding and enhancing mental wellness for youth and their families.
We understand that the past few years have brought unique challenges, and we want to help. We're running programs with a focus on connection, mindfulness, physical activity, and new skills.
