TVCC youth with disabilities, 12 yrs +, and their siblings who reside within Elgin/Middlesex, Huron/Perth, Grey/Bruce & Oxford County.
What to Expect
Join Horizons for Nintendo Switch parties! We connect TVCC's Nintendo Switch consoles to big screens for everyone to play together. We have many games to choose from to learn and play together! This is a great way to try some new games, make new friends and have a great time!
Through this program, youth will:
- Practice social skills through turn taking, group activities, and peer connection
- Boost their self-confidence
- Improve communication skills through shared activities and cooperative play
Participant Criteria:
- TVCC clients and their siblings ages 12+ yrs
- Able to participate in group activities and discussion with minimal support; participants are welcome to have a support person present to assist them
- Interested in Nintendo Switch/video games
