We are currently recruiting for a regular, full-time Manager, Clinical Services to fill an upcoming vacancy in Clinical and Technical Specialty Service (CaTSS). The Manager is responsible for overseeing and monitoring the day-to-day operations of various teams and reports to the Director of Clinical and Technical Specialty Services. This position is expected to begin in March 2026. The designated office location will be London.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure services are delivered in accordance with Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) guidelines, Ministry of Health and Long Term Care (MoH) guidelines, Assistive Devices Program guidelines, established clinical framework, TVCC policies, and program procedures and practices;
- Ongoing development of clinical, educational and evaluative activities to best meet the needs of the clients, caregivers, TVCC clinicians and community serviceproviders, in alignment with the Life Needs Model of Paediatric Service Delivery and Funder deliverables;
- Develop, coordinate and monitor processes to optimize effectiveness and efficiency of services and supports provided by TVCC;
- Caseload planning and workload distribution;
- Monitor and report on benchmark performance indicators for TVCC, Ministries, and Children’s Health Foundation (CHF) purposes;
- Collaboration and networking to enhance internal and external partnerships;
- Supervision and support for a diverse group of staff, including development through coaching, mentoring and facilitating growth for staff working across a large geography;
- Recruitment, selection and orientation of new staff; support returning and exiting staff;
- Educate, provide training and monitor safe work practices, and ensure that staff work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OH&SA) and within the policies and procedures established by TVCC, including the Collective Agreement;
- Engage in and/or lead internal and external committees on behalf of TVCC;
- Participate as an active member of the TVCC Leadership Team;
- Manage budgets, timesheets, purchase orders and expense claims;
- Participate in a system of on-call coverage and support for clinical evening/weekend hours on a rotating basis;
- Occasional travel to regional sites is required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4-year undergraduate degree in a healthcare, education, social sciences or business/administration field;
- 3 years minimum leadership related experience in a progressively responsible position, demonstrating the ability to lead others using a strength and relationship based approach
- Relevant leadership training and demonstrated commitment to on-going leadership education and training;
- Demonstrated knowledge of applicable standards of practice an asset;
- Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills, with experience in mentorship and coaching;
- Knowledge and understanding of paedatric services and the needs of the client population TVCC serves;
- Project management aptitude including planning, implementation, data collection and analysis with a proven record in meeting program objectives and deliverables;
- Demonstrated ability to lead change in a complex environment that requires clinical excellence, continuous learning, innovation and research.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate conflict resolution, negotiate beneficial outcomes, and support collaborative solutions;
- Able to handle multiple demands and priorities, delegate, and manage time effectively.
- A consistent, mature, positive approach;
- Excellent computer skills; including proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 programs and videoconferencing software (i.e. Teams);
- Valid Ontario drivers license and access to a vehicle.
- Proficiency in French is considered an asset.
Salary range: $54.00 - $63.54/hour
