for TVCC clients with disabilities, ages 4 - 9, who reside within Elgin-Middlesex-Oxford, Grey-Bruce, and Huron-Perth counties. This camp is best suited for children who can be safe in unfenced outdoor spaces on walks, are comfortable in a group setting that can be highly stimulating and are able to follow directions.
What to Expect
This inclusive camp will feature themed hands-on activities.
With Backyard Biology your child will discover a magnificent and microscopic world hiding right in your own backyard.
Use microscopes and binoculars to examine insects, animals, and their habitats. Learn more about the impact humans have on the natural environment.
This unforgettable week includes play-based learning, real museum artifacts, gallery exploration, and outdoor activities.
The program will be facilitated by the London Children's Museum and supported by TVCC Recreation Therapists, Therapy Assistants and volunteers.
