TVCC Youth, and their siblings who are age 12+, who already have Minecraft at home and who reside within Elgin/Middlesex, Huron/Perth, Grey/Bruce & Oxford County.
What to Expect
Is your TVCC youth a fan of Minecraft? Come explore the vast and creative world of Minecraft with The Wellness Project!
This is a great opportunity for TVCC clients (age 12+) and their siblings, to explore online gaming in a safe, closed environment.
Every Wednesday, we will be connecting online to work together to build our home base, collect resources, and survive through the nights.
Through playing Minecraft together, participants will have the opportunity to interact with other youth, learn how to communicate effectively, and work together to overcome challenges.
They will be encouraged to express themselves creatively and share their ideas with others, building confidence and self-esteem. This program is for youth who already have Minecraft at home. Keep an eye out for future programs for those wanting to try it out at TVCC!
Questions about gaming and internet safety for this program? Please ask! Email Stephanie.Clements [at] tvcc.on.ca
We will be on Zoom throughout the program to allow for voice communication.
To join this group, you need to have a copy of Minecraft on one of these platforms:
- Computer/laptop (must be a PC)
- iPad
- Nintendo Switch
- Xbox
What is Horizons and The Wellness Project?
Horizons is TVCC's new program just for youth ages 12+. The Wellness Project a three-year program aimed at rebuilding and enhancing mental wellness for youth and their families.
