What to Expect
Join Horizons and The Wellness Project for Nintendo Switches parties this fall/winter! Register for one date or all dates!
We connect TVCC's Nintendo Switch consoles to two big screens for everyone to play together. We have four games to choose from, or youth are also welcome to bring any multiplayer games they'd like to play with the group.
Parents/caregivers - We invite you to stay and enjoy some coffee and conversation. Andrea, the Parent Mentor on The Wellness Project, will have a separate area for you spend some time connecting with each other while your youth attends the Switch Party.
What is Horizons and The Wellness Project?
Horizons is TVCC's new program just for youth ages 12+. We plan fun groups and workshops, and can also meet with you one-on-one to explore topics like planning for after high school, volunteering in the community, looking for a job, and more! If you'd like to find out more, send us an email at horizons [at] tvcc.on.ca or click here to visit our Horizon's page. The Wellness Project a three-year program aimed at rebuilding and enhancing mental wellness for youth and their families.
We understand that the past three years have brought unique challenges and we want to help. Over the next three years we'll be running programs with a focus on connection, mindfulness, physical activity, and new skills.
