Client / Caregiver Vaccination

Are you or your child eligible for a COVID-19 vaccination?

Some health units in the TVCC service area have begun to offer COVID-19 vaccinations for individuals who meet their current eligibility criteria for high risk health conditions. Only those over 16 years of age are currently eligible to get the vaccine, however, one primary caregiver of an eligible person of any age can be vaccinated.

How do I know if I’m eligible?

To check if you or your child is eligible to book an appointment with your health unit you can use the provincial booking system.

  1. Go to the provincial vaccine appointment booking website.
  2. Enter your postal code in the required field, and click on the “View eligible groups” button.
  3. In the Eligible groups field, select “People with the highest-risk health conditions and their caregivers” and click on the Start Button.
  4. Carefully read the information provided to determine if you and/or your child are eligible.
  5. If you think you are eligible, click on the Continue button.

You will be directed to Vaccine booking System for your area. Note that the above steps may change over time.
