Who is it for?
This Workshop is geared to TVCC youth with disabilities, 12 -18 yrs, and their parents/caregivers, who are interested in exploring relationships,
What is it about?
Join us for a fun workshop for youth and their parents/caregivers to explore relationships. There will be tips from teens, young adults and adults on developing and supporting teens with friendships, dating, and intimate relationships.
Participants will consider/learn about what healthy relationships have in common, and how to go about putting yourself out there in comfortable ways. We will also discuss how parents/caregivers can support their youth in developing healthy relationships. Participants will be given opportunity for small group discussion in break out rooms.
Helpful resources will be shared with participants with an offer to follow-up by scheduling an individual consultation if needed.
