Keeping Runners Safe - Safety and Autism (ARABIC)

for Arabic-speaking parents/caregivers, community and therapists supporting children/youth with ASD and/or other disabilities

What to Expect

A unique opportunity for Arabic-speaking families!

Foundational Family Services is excited to partner with the Muslim Resource Centre for Social Support and Inclusion (MRCSSI) to present "Keeping Runners Safe – Safety and Autism" in Arabic. MRCSSI will be providing live interpretation during this presentation. Translated presentation materials and resources will be provided.

This virtual, one-hour presentation is designed for parents and caregivers of children who engage in behaviours that may put their safety at risk. Parents will learn to identify and prepare for those risks, and make a plan.

This presentation focuses on children with autism in high risk situations but all parents and professionals are welcome to participate. You will receive a checklist that will help you start to assess potential risks and how set up a safety plan specific to your child.
