Background Information: As a service to our clients, we offer many paediatric medical and dental clinics at Thames Valley Children's Centre organized by diagnosis. There are some large multidisciplinary Specialty Clinics and there are also some smaller Specialty Clinics that offer more limited services. All Specialty Clinics have one or more physician specialists or dentists available. TVCC Clinicians including physiotherapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), speech-language pathology (SLP), and registered nurse clinician (RN) are often a part of these Specialty Clinics as outlined below. Clients and their families may see some or all of the listed disciplines in one visit, depending upon their needs and the availability of the various specialists and disciplines. Other disciplines including recreation, social work (SW) and service co-ordination (SC) may also be available to act as a resource to clients, families and community service providers. Note that the clinic "Primary Contact" is the main contact person for general questions for families and TVCC staff.
