All Kids Belong, a program run through Merrymount Children's Centre, provides supports for the inclusion of children with special needs in child care settings in London-Middlesex. We work very closely with the All Kids Belong staff to provide a consistent team approach with each individual child and family.

Community Feeding Resource Group is an interdisciplinary team consisting of a Speech-Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, and a Psychologist  (as requested by CFRG members). The CFRG is based at Thames Valley Children's Centre and is available to all therapists servicing preschool children in Elgin, Middlesex and Oxford counties.

The CFRG is available to provide assistance to community therapists in a variety of ways:

  • Provision of general or topic-specific information, resources or handouts
  • Review of a client videotape with the therapist
  • Joint assessment and/or treatment session with the therapist and the client and family
  • Organizing educational opportunities or inservices
  • Feeding Frenzy - quarterly newsletter

Developmental Resources for Infants
DRI is a combination of resources from four different organizations that are working together to provide easy-to-access, family-centred services.

DRI offers information and intake and service coordination for children 2 years and under with developmental concerns. It is a partnership of CPRI, Home Visiting Program for Infants, Thames Valley Children's Centre, Children's Hospital of Western Ontario and the Developmental Follow -up Clinic of St. Joseph's Health Care

Professionals involved may include: Nurse, Nutritionist, Occupational Therapist, Paediatrician, Parent-Infant Therapist, Physiotherapist, Psychologist, Psychometrist, Recreation Therapist, Social Worker, Speech-Language Pathologist, and others.

The Grey-Bruce Preschool Speech and Language Initiative provides speech and language services to preschoolers in Grey and Bruce counties. We support their work through funding for speech-language pathologist time.

smallTALK provides speech and language services to preschoolers in Huron and Perth counties. We support their work through funding for speech-language pathologist time. 

tykeTALK provides coordinated access to speech and language services for preschoolers in London-Middlesex, Elgin, and Oxford counties. We are one of the service providers contracted by tykeTALK, and are actively involved at all levels of this system.
