1. Projects
- Since 1989, 127 research projects and evaluations have been completed that have involved TVCC clients, their families, and/or TVCC staff members.
- TVCC staff members were named investigators on 96 completed projects
- External researchers completed 33 projects involving TVCC clients, families, and/or staff

On average, 13 projects are underway in a year.
2. Funding
- Since 1989, Thames Valley Children Centre staff have been named investigators on research projects which have received total funding of over $7,729,070.
- 57 projects received $5,000 and under
- 34 projects received between $5,001 and $50,000
- 20 projects received between $50,001 and $250,000
- 7 projects received over $250,001
- Since 1989, 97 projects have received 118 grants (some projects receive funding from more than one source) from 37 funding sources.
3. Presentations
- Since 1989, TVCC staff members have made 281 external presentations of their research results at:
- 89 International conferences
- 41 National conferences
- 133 Provincial conferences
- 18 Invited presentations (12 at International conferences, 1 at a National conference, and 5 at Provincial conferences)
- On an annual basis, staff members make an average of 13 presentations of their research results at provincial, national, and international conferences.
4. Publications
- Since 1992, 169 research articles, abstracts, reports, and book chapters, and 1 book have been published with TVCC staff members as named authors.
- 138 peer-review articles and abstracts in professional academic journals

- On average each year, 7 articles are published or accepted for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
5. TVCC Staff Members' Involvement in Research
- Since 1989, TVCC staff have been Principal Investigators on 73 (63%) of the 118 research grants.
- All TVCC programs and therapy disciplines have been involved in research.
- Over half of staff who do research have been involved in more than one project.
