Love and determination brought Josh to Thames Valley Children's Centre one year ago this month. Josh was born in Trinidad and when he arrived in Canada as a two year old, he could barely sit up. Today, after one year of therapy, determination and hard work, Josh is riding a tricycle!  Read more ...

After years of thoughtful planning and a carefully executed construction project, the reviews are in ~ clients,families, staff and volunteers are thrilled with the newly expanded Thames Valley Children's Centre in London.  One parent summed up the new state-of-the-art facility by stating "I don't know how you did it, but you made a great place event better!"  Read more ...

Music is Allison's security blanket, she brings a song with her everywhere.  When she started Music Mania, an eight week program at Thames Valley Children's Centre for children 4-6 years old, she comforted herself with the songs that her mother taught her.  She would sing familiar songs during the 45 minute class, instead of the new songs that were being introduced.  After a few short weeks, the music from her class became a source of comfort and joy and no longer a stressful separation from her mom.  Read more ...
