The goal of the Autism program is to help children be their best by achieving their greatest level of independence and becoming a part of their community.

We serve children and school boards in these ten counties:

        • Bruce
        • Chatham-Kent
        • Elgin
        • Grey
        • Huron
        • London-Middlesex
        • Oxford
        • Perth
        • Sarnia-Lambton
        • Windsor-Essex

The Autism Program comprises two distinct services sharing a foundation in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and other evidence based strategies supported by empirical research. The two programs are the Autism Intervention Program and the School Support Program.

The Autism Intervention Program (AIP) is a client direct service for children who have been diagnosed with Autism toward the severe end of the spectrum. Therapists from the AIP work with children, their families and caregivers at home and in the community.

The School Support Program (SSP) provides support to educators to enhance their understanding of Autism, Applied Behaviour Analysis and other evidence based practices. Consultants work with the local school boards to provide Training, Consultations, Planning and Resources. Consultative services are not student direct.
