The Augmentative Communication Service (ACS) supports children and youth to find solutions to help them to write, or communicate in person (face to face) when low technology or standard strategies and therapy have not been enough to meet their needs. We focus on the use of high-level technology and/or complex specialized strategies to assist or augment communication. In many cases, we can also authorize partial funding for needed devices through the Assistive Devices Program.
